About Me

Hi, I'm Micah, I am passionate about building things with my hands, especially barn doors. My wife Kirsten and I have lived in Lincoln, NE since 2015. I have a full time "day" job that I absolutely love, and on my days off and in my spare time I enjoy unwinding by working out in the garage on some kind of project!

I started building barn doors when Kirsten and I decided we wanted to install a couple barn doors in our spare bedroom for our closets. I started out this adventure exploring all my options online. I found that all the big-box stores carried only specific sizes, nothing that fit our needs. So I decided to build my own! One thing led to the next and I found I had a knack for building doors.
